We have found that two of the greatest needs in our community are housing and transportation. 

Helping Hands is looking to purchase a ministry house for temporary housing for those in our community that are displaced as they look for another home. You may give toward our ministry house by designating your offering to Helping Hands Ministry House. 

There are always people in our community that need transportation to church, a job, or an appointment. You can meet that need by providing a ride or by donating a car.  

An ongoing ministry of Helping Hands that meets urgent needs is our food bag ministry to transients and families. Helping Hands provides Transient Bags for those without the means to cook and Family Bags for families and those who do have the means to cook. We are always in need of food donations for this significant ministry.

Transient Bag Items

• Crackers (saltines, Ritz, etc.)

• Canned Fruit with pop tops or Fruit Cups
  
• Tuna pouches/other canned meats with pop tops
  
• Granola bars
  

Family Bag Items

• Dry pasta

• Dry Rice or Boxed Rice Mixes
  
• Dry Beans
  
• Canned Vegetables  
  
• Powdered Milk
  
• Baby Food

Our Handyman Ministry helps home owners with small repairs or chores. This is especially helpful for those in our community who are under-resourced or elderly.

There is a great ministry opportunity at the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, right out our back door! 

If you like spending time with kids and want to share God's love with them, this is the ministry for you. 

Games, stories, and snacks are just some of the ways we share the gospel with these precious children at their after-school time any day of the week.

Community Fun Day happens once a month in our gym. 

We invite the community to join our ABC families in a time of fun and fellowship on a Saturday afternoon. 

Bible stories, fun games, and interactive snacks make a great atmosphere for making new friends.
