ABC students

Our student ministry (6th through 12th grade) focuses on teaching God's Word, applying Biblical truths to life, and assisting teenagers in living out their faith in Christ.

At Alberta, we aim to teach students to "own" their faith as we help usher them into adulthood. To  accomplish this, we offer times of youth worship, Bible study, apologetics training, fellowship, and missisional opportunities all with a view to helping teens to Know God, Find Community, and Live On Mission.

O God, from my youth you have taught me, and I still proclaim your wondrous deeds. So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to another generation, your power to all those to come.

                                                                                         — Psalm 71:17-18

Sunday A.M.

All middle school and high school students meet together in the Youth House (the yellow building located beside the outdoor basketball court on our church campus) beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Our teaching material is The Gospel Project for Students. Currently we are in the New Testament, examining the content of the Gospel narratives.

Sunday P.M.

On Sunday nights from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, we have a life group that is especially focused on the faith and fellowship of middle school and high school students.

We have a meal, a time of sermon application, and plenty of time to hang out (sometimes in and around a pool).

Our discipleship time comes from one of the texts students read the previous week in our Youth Bible Reading Plan.

Location for this gathering is at the home of our student pastor and his wife, Jared and Kimber Roggli.

If you or your student would like to get connected to this gathering, e-mail Jared.

Wednesday P.M.

We meet at 5:30 PM in the Youth House—the yellow building behind the outdoor patio on the west side of our church campus.

Each night we open with a time of worship through song, followed by a time of study and discussion from God’s Word. For the 2023-2024 school year, we are taking a Journey through John’s Gospel account.

Following youth worship, students join the rest of the church family in the cafe/gym for a meal at 6:30 PM.
